It was time to switch vets. Every appointment with our previous vet was stressful. Our Shepard was anxious and not happy. He is generally very sweet and approachable- but they muzzled him every time and wanted to put him under for a general exam. It made my husband and I upset to be told Nino was an “aggressive dog” as they labeled him, because he is not. After reading the reviews for Chittenden Veterinary Clinic I knew we had to try. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! My husband and I got emotional watching the Dr. sit on the floor and love on our Nino as she examined him. She’s a literal BOSS. It was an experience we never thought we would have. We wanted to feel a connection with our vet and know they would give our dog the care he deserves and not be afraid of him simply because he is a Shepard. And what we got far exceeded our expectations and hopes. We got an actual conversation and actual care. We have found our Vet and are just so happy.

Dr Underwood and the people that work at Chittenden are amazing providers. My dog Odin can be a little difficult to deal with and Dr U doesn’t even bat an eye. lol she tells him enough and keeps it moving! And he deals with it! And my dog Binkie had a pretty severe infection in his here and she found it and treated it. If you are looking for a vet-come here. Each and every staff member loves their patients and animals period!

Everyone in Chittenden Clinic is amazing.They always super nice, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and you can tell the love and caring for animals is why they're there. Special shout out to wonderful dr.Cunningham, Josh for hands-on care and solid plan for future treatment. Also Natalie and Tess for going extra mile,Thank you for squeezing us in for last minute app.and helping our German Shepherd Azzie feel better. You are all truly appreciated.😊

I've been seeing Chittenden for my boy Apollo for years now, especially once he came down with a chronic condition that affects his heart. Despite the ongoing financial hardships I endure that often limits my frequency of his visits (or my other animals, given I am a pet parent of 6), they still do their best to assist me. Moreso when I explain my struggles but still wish to seek proper care for his heart condition, that being Congestive Heart Failure. Mind you, I currently live about an hour to 2hrs away from Chittenden as I currently right this review! But majority if not all of the staff I've met have been polite, friendly, hospitable, and caring for each of my pets (some of which are reactive, or anxious snappers). I still insist of visiting this clinic as opposed to finding one that's more local to my current living address because... well, honestly I don't have much confidence I'd find a clinic that's equally understanding or willing to help if something was to go awry. Or I have a million-and-one frantic, uninformed questions about my dogs or cats and their health, or what they'd recommend until my pets can be seen. It feels to be a very much inclusive, judgement free-zone especially with the economic climate and how poor it's gotten with time. The trips to-and-from the clinic aren't always easy, sometimes they cost me a bit extra if I have to pay for an Uber or some other cab fair but at least I'd have the peace of mind knowing my fur kids would be treated with care, in addition to the understanding from a financially limited pet parent who wishes to strive for the best care even if my income isn't the best. There's seldom ever a time that I feel "stupid" when asking what I would label as a "stupid question" when inquiring something about specific products (especially with my pup Apollo being on medication) that would or would not conflict. They've helped me in more ways than I could count, which is yet why I insist to come back to their quaint little clin

I began going here when I got a cat in college and lived down the street. It was easy to get convenient appointment times and they have always been helpful and kind and affordable. After moving around and coming back to Columbus with a new furry family member we now drive here from the 'burbs because they do a great job being patient with our anxious dog and really listen to our concerns about our pets.

The team at Chittenden are absolutely wonderful. I really appreciate how communicative they are, their flexibility with appointments and times, and I can just tell they really care and that matters a lot to me.

The staff at Chittenden Veterinary Clinic did an excellent job with my Golden! I called and expressed my concerns about my Rosie rose, they were upfront about their pricing. I was able to be seen within the hour due to a cancellation. I highly recommend them to anyone.

We have been bringing our pet here for years. I cannot recommend Chittenden Vet Clinic enough!! They are so kind, caring, and easy to work with. They are always professional and polite.

The staff is always so kind, never pushy about treatment, and always forward about costs. They provide excellent care. Appointments are quick and painless, as well as easy to make. Thank you for making the vet less scary!

Chittenden Vet is the best vet I have ever been to by a mile. One of my cats has a number of ongoing health issues and everyone at Chittenden has always been fantastic with her, despite her grumpy personality. They are thorough and clearly explain their reasoning to me and also always present me with several options to pursue, keeping in mind my limited budget. Some of their prices are a tad higher than what you can find elsewhere, but the slight additional expense is beyond worth it to receive such personalized and thoughtful care. I recently moved out of Ohio and already miss having this clinic nearby. I highly recommend them!
